After last week's offensive output by Buffalo I'm going to hope that they can do it again.
Chiefs @ Lions - Line DET by 9 - Pick Lions
KC really sucked it up and Detroit is my sleeper team this year, this was an easy pick.
Ravens @ Titans - Line BAL by 7 - Pick Ravens
It's hard to pick against the Ravens after they had such a strong showing against the Steelers.
Browns @ Colts - Line CLE by 2 - Pick Colts
Both teams looked bad last week, but I think at home and with the embarrassment that last week gave them, they will rebound. Kerry Collins is not Peyton Manning, but he's a good QB.
Buccaneers @ Vikings - Line MIN by 3 - Pick Buccaneers
Both teams took a loss last week, and the Vikings are at home, but until McNabb can show something on offense the Vikings will not win.
Bears @ Saints - Line NO by 7 - Pick Bears
This may just be because I'm a Bears fan, it may not be though. The Bears defense looked really strong last week, and if they can pressure Brees like they did Ryan they will get turnovers. The Saints defense gave up a ton to Green Bay last week, so I think the Bears offense has a good chance to score points.
Jaguars @ Jets - NYJ by 9 - Pick Jets
Sanchez looked good. And the Jaguars were weaker to start the season than I had expected.
Seahawks @ Steelers - Line PIT by 15 - Pick Steelers
It's hard to pick against a team when they have a 15 point line. And the Steelers will not look as bad as they did against the Ravens last week. Plus Seattle will be one of the weaker teams this year.
Cardinals @ Redskins - Line WSH by 4 - Pick Washington
I get in this mode where I think that when teams are fairly even that the better coach will win. I'm not sure statistically how often that's true, but I seem to always pick the team that I think has the better coach. Shanahan is one of the best.
Packers @ Panthers - Line GB by 11 - Pick Packers
The packers offense will be too much for the Carolina defense, and the Panthers offense will not repeat it's great performance from last week.
Cowboys @ 49ers - Line DAL by 3 - Pick Cowboys
The Cowboys looked pretty good last week, and the 49ers didn't look very good other than Ted Ginn returning kicks. If the Cowboys special teams can stop Ginn they will win.
Bengals @ Broncos - Line DEN by 4 - Pick Broncos
I like Orton leading the Broncos, but last week he was shaky, it wasn't what I expected for a veteran QB that's taken the reigns before, maybe he does feel the breath of another QB on his neck. I still think the Bengals are a weak team and that Denver is a great home field advantage.
Texans @ Dolphins - Line Hou by 3 - Pick Texans
I've been a Texans fan since they came into the league. Schaub is a very good QB and they have a solid defense. The Dolphins gave up staggering passing numbers, sure it was to one of the games best, but they still gave up yards almost like they weren't even on the field. Henne showed he's got the stuff to be more of a QB than Miami has let him be so far, maybe they'll give him a little more freedom in the passing game.
Chargers @ Patriots - Line NE by 7 - Pick Patriots
The Patriots look strong, the Chargers can't run the ball, and the game is in New England.
Eagles @ Falcons - Line PHI by 3 - Pick Eagles
If the Eagles get pressure on the Falcons like the Bears did, then they have a lot to look forward to during this game. I was a little shocked that Michael Vick didn't pass for more yards last week, I expect that will change this week, but he will probably also lead the team in rushing as he makes the Falcon defense look foolish for several big plays.
Rams @ Giants - Line NYG by 7 - Pick Rams
Neither team looked good last week, but my upset pick this week is the young Rams upsetting the Giants who I think looked completely out of whack last week.
