Book Review: Knock your socks off Service

For a book that's slightly dated (1991) Knock your Socks off Service does very well with providing timeless tips for delivering great service. The book is more of a reminder of what great service should entail than tips on how to get there, but for those that are seeking to better themselves and serve others better it may be enough to think about the different aspects of Service.

Like every business book there are lots of quotes that are great for motivation throughout the book. One of my favorites is:
Rules exist to serve, not enslave
-- Software programmer's axiom

The 31 chapters are each short and the book can be read in just a few hours, or spread out over time. This one works better spread out over time so you can think about each chapter after reading it.
